Robutel Corp.

I founded Robutel to pioneer advanced intra-logistics and material handling robotics for factories and warehouses, as well as to develop a robotic platform for third-party developers. Starting as the first technical member of the team, I personally designed the initial prototypes and later scaled the company by building and managing a team of 12 multidisciplinary engineers.

Under my leadership, Robutel grew into a recognized innovator in industrial robotics. In 2013, the company was acquired by Sanko Holding, one of Turkey’s largest industrial groups, and continues today as a provider of warehouse and factory automation systems.

During my tenure, I worked hands-on across a broad range of advanced technical fields, including:

– Industrial-grade PCB design (redundant, reliable systems using Mentor Graphics PADS)
– Real-time embedded software (designed with Keil for mission-critical reliability)
– Actuator and sensor integration, including DC brushless motors, AC motors, hydraulic systems, encoders, laser range finders, and inductive sensors
– Stereo camera image processing and localization in C++
– Robotic control software, covering mapping, navigation, redundancy, and communication
– Server-side robotic software development in PHP
– Sensor fusion and Kalman filtering for precision navigation and tracking

As founder, I not only drove the technology but also led the company’s operations, project management, and business growth. I managed projects under the IEEE 12207 product lifecycle standard, adapting agile or waterfall methodologies as required, while also presenting products to customers, securing new business opportunities, managing customer relations, and overseeing company finances.

This experience gave me a unique foundation: the ability to innovate at the cutting edge of robotics, while also building and scaling a company from concept to acquisition.

Kasırga Ltd.

At Kasırga Ltd. Şti. and during my studies at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, I worked on a series of advanced digital design and embedded systems projects, combining academic research with hands-on engineering applications. My work included:

  • OpenGL ES GPU Digital Design Emulator — Developed in C#, this emulator closely mirrored the hardware design process, enabling rasterization, re-ordering, tri-linear filtering, and other GPU functions to be tested in software before hardware implementation.
  • OpenGL ES GPU Driver Development — Built a C++ driver to bridge PC systems with the custom GPU design, translating OpenGL ES commands into binary hardware instructions while offloading processing to improve GPU performance.
  • OpenGL ES GPU Digital Design — Designed a GPU core in Verilog, validated on Altera FPGA boards, capable of rendering complex objects with trilinear filtering and advanced colorization techniques.
  • 32-bit Microprocessor Design (Kasırga 1, 2, and 3) — Designed and implemented 3 generations of processors in Verilog, tested on Altera/Xilinx FPGAs. These processors supported standard instruction sets and earned the CPU Turkey Prize for technical excellence.
  • Autonomous Parking Car Project — Developed an embedded control system using Microchip microcontrollers and C programming to automate vehicle parking.
  • Remote Robotic Pathfinder System (ETUS) — Designed and programmed a robotic navigation system using Microchip microcontrollers and C.
  • Microprocessors Laboratory Setup — Assisted in establishing a microprocessors lab, with hands-on contributions in 8051 microcontroller-based systems.
  • Internet Radio Project — Built an internet radio system using Ruby, demonstrating versatility across programming paradigms.

This experience gave me a strong foundation in digital design, FPGA systems, embedded programming, and robotics, and served as a critical stepping stone toward my later ventures in robotics, smart logistics, and cybersecurity.
